As the company grew through 70’s is also became a major source for suspension, electrical, hydraulic and other truck and bus related items. That is when the company changed its D.B.A. to PBS Brake & Supply Co. In the late 80’s, with almost 20 years of brake relining and bonding experience, PBS made a major commitment and investment in the most updated equipment for the brake reline and bonding shop. As PBS’s reputation for quality, service and professionalism spread, so did their customer base, expanding form New York to New England, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In 1995, to improve its accessibility, ASI Truck Parts Inc. was opened in Albany, NY. Today PBS and ASI are two of the major suppliers of heavy duty & truck parts in upstate New York, as well as one of the largest suppliers of custom brake work for mines, industrial, construction, and mills on the East Coast. |
